Bunsen Dame Street

The restaurant is located in a prominent corner unit on Dame Street in Dublin City Centre. The Bunsen chain is a well known burger joint and we wanted to put a different twist on their usual style. The existing unit which housed a previous restaurant was completely stripped out and the services were all fully upgraded.

For the new design, the main feature both practically and visually is the bespoke terrazzo counters custom made in Italy for the project and reflected in the mirror directly above. To maximise space in the restaurant we created a feature of these fixed terrazzo table tops and custom made stools.

The feature mirror ceiling reflects the table tops and lighting and all the people below and food below, animating the space and providing an illusion of space and colour.
