Hibernia Reit Office Fitout

Hibernia REIT's portfolio of buildings strives to be a leader in terms of sustainability, design and technology in the Irish market.

The project we were engaged to work on is located in one of their flagship buildings 1WML in Dublin’s City Centre. With a Gold LEED certification, the unit they wished to occupy had to tie in with the buildings ethos and design while actively promoting their company. The office needed to accommodate up to 40 people along with separate conference facilities, extensive meeting rooms or pods and staff facilities.

The existing unit was shell and core with a number of different levels - street, courtyard and lobby that had to be accommodated in the design.

LUCA were commissioned to design the project from inception to completion , from the steel mezzanine structure to the joinery and choice of all furniture, lighting, fixtures and finishes.

There was a considerable amount of building work to create the large glass mezzanine bridge with added challenge of BCAR, M&E and fire constraints.

This project won an award in the 2020 Fit out awards and was shortlisted for an RIAI workplace award.
