Vault House

This project involved the complete restoration and addition of a new large vaulted two storey extension to the rear of a double fronted period property in  Dublin 4. Four vaults run out from the main house forming the living and kitchen areas at the rear and ancillary areas to the side.

The vaults and arched steel windows and white brick are a nod to old coachhouse architecture and materiality One of the vaults at ground floor wraps around the side of the house and gives a glimpse to the front of what lies behind. Our brief has covered the project from inception through planning to construction and a full interiors service.
