Founded in 2017 by Architects, Catherine Crowe and Lucy Rainey, LUCA is a practice that focuses on architecture and interiors for all scales and typologies.

With over 20 years experience in the architectural world our approach to our work is informed by this very experience combined with our insatiable appetite to learn and deliver to the highest quality standards. This is reflected in our award winning work with high profile and private projects for and with our clients and available here to review on our website.

Our process involves working to a worthy 'big idea' which is firmly grounded in the fundamentals of good design and spatial awareness according to the opportunities brief. We are first and foremost architects while also working on bespoke interiors. We find that our best work often happens as we consider both aspects of a design.

Our core offering as a company is that both directors have a personal and in depth involvement in each and every project.

Unlike other firms, you will have access to us and our team at all key meetings and phases from inception to handover. Our goal is to develop strong and trusted relationships with our clients and this typically leads to multiple project partnerships and valuable referrals.

Profile

At Luca, we like to learn and challenge ourselves through our work and though we started as two we are now a core staff of seven consisting of talented senior architects, technologists and interior designers who understand and support our vision.

We aim to work on projects in a diverse range of sectors and scales. Every project presents a unique challenge but we often find inspiration on one project that informs our approach on another even if unrelated.

Over the last six years we have regularly been recognized for the quality of our work and service by our peers and our client base. This is something we value for the practice and our clients alike and has led to some prestigious project work.

Sustainability is in everything we do.

We deliver a sustainability focus in materials and practical supply, but also in the longevity and the robustness of the design. Biophilic design is one of our core tenets in our work and we have worked in pushing many of our projects to achieve the highest international standards in LEED, BRIAM.
